COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We are doing our best to keep you safe and finding ways to adapt to our new world. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in these challenging times!

Masks are Required for Entry
Please help keep us all safe and healthy in preventing the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a face mask. This requirement is in accordance to LA County mandates that face masks must be worn inside all essential businesses.
To practice physical distancing (staying 6 ft apart), we are asking that only patients with appointments or pick-ups come inside the office. Please have accompanying individuals wait outside/in your cars. One parent/guardian accompanying a minor may enter for appointments.
Patients symptoms of COVID-19 or with a temperature over 100 deg F or higher, have tested positive for COVID-19 or been exposed to someone with COVID-19 will need to be rescheduled.
Exam Room Cleaning and Disinfection
All exam equipment will be cleaned and direct contact equipment will be sterilized in between each patient as we have always done. Doctors and staff will be wearing personal protective equipment to keep you safe. We have also spaced out our appointment slots to allow for adequate time for cleaning between patients as well as to limit the amount of people inside the office at one time.
To our valued patients,
We miss you!
As of now, we are awaiting the California Optometric Associations guidelines for reopening. We will be updating you on new safety protocols we will enact to keep you safe during your eye exam.
Thanks your for your understanding and stay safe and well.

Temporary Office Hours
Patient Notice on COVID-19
Following the recommendations of California and Long Beach authorities as well as the California Optometric Association we will be temporarily shutting down for the next 2-4 weeks to help in combating the spread of the corona virus.
We will be open today until 6 PM for dispensing of glasses and contacts as well as any other emergency needs. On April 1st, we will reassess the situation to determine if it is in the best interests of our patients and staff to re-open.
If an ocular emergency does arise it is best to contact an available eyecare professional such as Coastal Vision or Harvard Eye Associates.
Dr Sao will continue to see emergency patients at Coastal Vision's Long Beach location during this healthcare crisis for as long as possible.
Please stay safe, practice social distancing and help to flatten the curve.
Thank you for being the greatest patients an Optometrist could ask for. We will get through these trying times together!
Sinavy, Cynthia, Ruby & Estie
We'll be closed December 24th & 25th as well as January 1st. All other hours will be normal business hours.
When you think it’s ok to OVER WEAR your contacts and we find this on your ?. Eyesight is precious, please don’t take unnecessary chances.
About 20% of contact lens wearers discard their used contact lenses in the toilet or sink. This leads to a large amount of plastic waste that contaminates our oceans, endangers wildlife, and likely ends in our food supply. Please discard contacts into the trash or with companies like teracycle that will recycle the contact lenses and the blister packs. Better yet, bring them to our office where we will happily recycle them for you.
We don't take sight for granted. Like earth, we do whats best to preserve what we have.
